The first piece I painted in this trio was Knees to the Earth. With its rich, bold tones melting into one another (to me representing red rock, grass, clouds, meadow, water), it became a favorite in the shop and inspired a second piece: Grounded. As we started to field requests for a third and final piece, I started to see a larger expanse of water between the two. Perhaps a marsh, a lake, a river. I hope when you see River Home, you feel what I did while I was painting it. Like it's a place you've been and know, even though you can't remember when or where, and it feels good and safe and lovely to you.

Canvas Details
- All canvases are gallery wrapped and printed with archival, UV-resistant inks on museum quality canvas.
- Our canvases are digital reproduction prints with no variation in surface texture. They are smooth to the touch; any texture you see is part of the scan of the image. There is no faux texture added.
- Small to mid-sized unframed canvases are available in our Canvas Signs. The mid to large unframed canvases are available in our Traditional Canvases. - Fine Art Prints are digital reproductions freshly printed on luxurious cream-colored, heavyweight 105# archival paper, boasting a perfect subtle texture and matte finish.
- 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 unframed art prints are delightfully shipped flat! 20x24 and 24x30 unframed art prints ship rolled. If ordering a 20x24 or 24x30 art print with a smaller art print, the smaller art print will ship rolled in the tube with the larger art prints. More about our unframed art prints here.

Classy, Timeless, Beautiful
I am obsessed with this drama-filled piece. It evokes so much emotion within me. I bought the entire set and they look so perfect in my dining room.

Online there is depth and definition to the image, still subtly and soothing, but you can sense the river, its banks and the golden skies. In person, it is a muddled, one dimensional, smattering of color. Little definition, no depth. Truly disappointed.
