Hi, I’m Lindsay

I have loved creating things for as long as I can remember. I always say, I know that God blesses everyone with their own unique set of gifts, and those gifts are all valuable, but I really love the gifts He picked for me. I feel fully alive when I get to make something beautiful… and that experience is only heightened when I get to make something beautiful for someone else. I love people and figuring them out. I want to hear about your ideas, the things you love, the things you don’t love, and then create something for you that is exactly what you would create if you could.

The facts: I live in Illinois, about an hour from Chicago {and dangerously close to Target}. I have a BFA in Visual Communications {Graphic Design}. I’m a little neurotic about typography. I have a fantastic, hilarious, gorgeous husband named Dugan, and recently welcomed our beautiful baby girl Eva Love into this world. I have an incredible group of close friends. I attend an amazing church. I love getting lost in antique malls, strong coffee with strong cream, frozen yogurt, lipstick, cooking, eating, running, tattoos, decorating, intentional time, having fun with my clothes, making people feel pretty, and lovely lettering.

Whisker Graphics - Customer Share ~ Lindsay Letters - [...] Lindsay Sherbondy has a talent I wish I had. She has the amazing ability to make letters B.E.A.U-tiful. That’s right Lindsay is a calligrapher and the driving force behind Lindsay Letters. Her style is swoon worthy. Take a look at these invitations she did for Jones Design Company. photo credit: Jones Design Company [...]

Kate - Lindsay,
I ran across your blog when I was reading Shauna Niequist’s blog. So great! I LOVE a lot of the same things…running, Target, antique malls, going to a fabulous church, strong coffee, tattoos and lettering! I am currently working on shower invitations for my younger sister’s wedding shower and have been quite inspired by your website. So, thank you! I’ve started my amateur blog to get rid of some of my random artwork (and help Ethiopian orphans in the process)…http://artfororphans.blogspot.com and I hope to be adding more to it :)
Thanks for the inspiration!
Kate
